ABout THE AUTHOR
Esther Parker-Barnes is a gifted storyteller who has a knack for weaving together tales that give life to the daily emotional challenges that children face. She is able to draw these connections based on her experience as an Early Childhood Educator for over 37 years with KinderCare, one of America's largest providers of early childhood and school-age child care. Esther also treasures the over 20 years she spent serving in ministry with her husband, Evangelist Richard E. Barnes Sr., as a program specialist in the Church of Christ at McGuffey Road in Youngstown, Ohio. This role enabled her to help guide the holistic development of both women and children through the faith-based programming she helped provide. As a result, Esther founded Hadassah's Voice, LLC™ in 2022, a business that inspires children and women through the art of storytelling to become the best version of themselves.
As a John F. Kennedy High School graduate, and alumna of Cleveland State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, Esther is proud to call Macedonia, Ohio her home.
